Financial Assistance Information

To apply for Financial Assistance, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Submit your child’s enrollment form to the school.  Include the current report card (1st-8th grade) and transcript (high school).
  2. Read carefully the Financial Assistance Guidelines (open PDF below).
  3. Complete online application through FACTS.
  4. Submit a letter to our Financial Aid Committee with an e-mail to: [email protected], explaining why you are requesting financial assistance and how much you can afford for tuition each month.

Merit-based Scholarships at Pacific Christian Academy

We have a variety of scholarships available for students. See below for currently available scholarships.

Qualifications and Procedure

High School Merit-Based Scholarship Qualification Guidelines For 2023-2024
DEADLINE: April 17, 2024

Qualifications vary according to the scholarship applying for and are subject to change on an annual basis. See the qualification guidelines for details.

Note: Applications missing required attachments/information will not be considered.

  1. Eligible students must submit a completed application before the deadline. 
  2. The scholarship committee will review the application. 
  3. Awardees will be announced prior to the end of the current year.
  4. Scholarships are non-transferable. 

DEADLINE: Application packets are available now (Located below "Important Documents"). Scholarship application deadline for all applicants is April 17, 2024 for domestic students entering High School in the 2024/2025 school year.

Note: Application for scholarship is not a guarantee of award. We strongly recommend that you also submit an Application for Financial Aid.

High School Scholarship Program 

PURPOSE: To acknowledge and reward students who have exhibited outstanding performance (listed below) at Pacific Christian Academy.

AWARD: Tuition scholarship awards will be based upon one of the following:

    • For domestic students who have excellent grades and carry a strong course load.
  • Display classroom leadership, participation, critical thinking and a strong Biblical World View.
  • Returning full time student of PCA only.
  • Minimum of 3.75 GPA
  • Completed Scholarship Program Application.
  • Three letters of recommendation from adults other than your parents/guardians. One must be from a PCA teacher. 
  • 500 word typed essay.  Must include: Why do you want to continue to attend PCA? How do you think exhibiting excellence in academic and leadership will influence your future? How has having excellent academics and leadership helped you to be an example of Christ? What is your vision for how you will make a significant contribution in the community, local church and at PCA? 
  • For domestic students who are focused on improving school culture and who contribute to the PCA campus life; a servant leader involved in school activities. 
  • Returning full time student of PCA only.
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Completed Scholarship Program Application
  • Three letters of recommendation from adults other than your parents/guardians. One must be from a PCA teacher. 
  • 250 word typed essay; must include: Why do you want to attend PCA ? How are you involved in being a servant leader on campus with student activities? How do you see your involement as you prepare for your future? What is your vision for how you will make a significant contribution at PCA ? 
  • For domestic students who serve others outside of their school and church community.
  • Returning full time student of PCA only.
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Completed Scholarship Program Application
  • Three letters of recommendation from adults other than your parents/guardians. One must be from an organization that you volunteer for in the community .
  • 250 word typed essay which must include: Why do you want to attend PCA ? What areas of service have you been involved in and how many hours do you serve in each area per month? How do you see serving as a part of your future? How have you been an example of Christ during your service opportunities? What is your vision for how you will make a significant contribution in your community, local church and at PCA through service? 
  • For domestic students who demonstrate a zest for life and missions, are courageous and active in school, involved, tenacious, full of vision and purpose, with a love for Jesus. 
  • New or returning students of PCA .
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Completed Scholarship Program Application
  • Three letters of recommendation from adults other than your parents/guardians. One must be from a teacher or pastor 
  • 250 word typed essay; must include: What do you love about PCA? What activities have you been involved in at school and/or the mission field? How does your zeal for living life and your vision enable you to be an example of Christ? What is your vision for how you will make a significant contribution at PCA?
